It’s no secret that John Paul Mitchell Systems™ partners with causes that are meaningful and impactful. We feel it’s important to give back to philanthropic organizations whose missions align with what we believe in. The season of giving is upon us and is a great time to start raising awareness about companies who give back. Do you know some of the causes that are important to your clients? Paul Mitchell® proudly supports Bright Pink’s mission to save women’s lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering them to live proactively at a young age. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and one in 75 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer in her lifetime. Bright Pink inspires women to be their own best advocates when it comes to their breast and ovarian health.

The Mission

Bright Pink is a national women’s health organization on a mission to save women’s lives from breast and ovarian cancer. The organization’s innovative programs motivate women to prioritize prevention, assess their risk for breast and ovarian cancer, and manage their health proactively in partnership with a healthcare provider.

Our Partnership

Since 2014, Paul Mitchell has partnered with Bright Pink to educate its professionals, customers and students on their breast and ovarian health. In 2018, Paul Mitchell’s limited-edition Stargazer collection benefits Bright Pink, and Paul Mitchell Schools across the country fundraise for the cause during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Bullying Impacts Everyone

Bullying affects children of every shape, size, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation or physical ability. Everyone has dealt with bullying at one level or another.

Anti-Bullying Salon Fundraising Ideas

Here are some ways you can show support in your salon:

  • Give your clients the option to add $1, $3 or $5 donation onto their bill at checkout
  • Your salon can donate $2-$5 from every service or on selected services during the month
  • Your salon can donate part of the proceeds from the sale of every Sparkle Ever After promo product/tool sold in-salon
  • Have a raffle drawing for donated product and services at month’s end

Get Involved

The #UnifySelfieChallenge is a global effort to bring an end to the silence associated with bullying. By unifying together, we can show the world the we are stronger when we stand as one.

Write the word ‘unify’ on the back of your hand, place it over your mouth, and take a selfie! Tag as many friends as you can and challenge them to do the same. Don’t forget the hashtag: #UnifySelfieChallenge.

Paul Mitchell® proudly supports Baby2Baby by helping to provide one million diapers to low-income children. In addition to helping provide one million diapers, for every Kids gift set sold, Paul Mitchell® will provide a bottle of shampoo to a Baby2Baby child in need.

The Mission

Baby2Baby provides low-income children, ages 0-12 years, with diapers, clothing and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. Baby2Baby will serve hundreds of thousands of children living in poverty across the country this year.

Our Partnership

Helping children on behalf of hairdressers worldwide, Paul Mitchell® presents the Baby2Baby Gala, a star-studded benefit that has helped to raise millions to support the services of Baby2Baby.

Get Involved

Baby2Baby offers a number of ways to make an impact. Salons and stylists can host a drive, organize a baby shower or donate their time with volunteer opportunities across the country.
