A Message From Our Vice Chairman Michaeline DeJoria and COO Jason Yates

During this most difficult and challenging time in our world and our industry, John Paul Mitchell Systems wants to make sure you know that you, our salon partners, are at the heart of everything that we do. In fact, everything we do begins with the question, “How will this benefit our salon partners?”. With that, we have shifted our focus for 2020 to be that of rebuilding our industry and supporting our most valuable partners: you.

We are excited to announce a kick-off initiative to help you get back on your feet as quickly as possible! As I'm sure you're aware, we had planned to hold our Gathering In Las Vegas later this year. However, we felt it would not be appropriate to put on such an event under the current economic climate. Instead, we want to focus on what we can do to help you during your time of need. So, we’ve decided to cancel this year’s Gathering and redirect resources and money to help you, our valued salon partners. Think of this as John Paul Mitchell Systems own stimulus package that is worth nearly $4 million dollars to quickly get you back on your feet and doing what you love most!

The entire team has been working tirelessly to find the best ways to support you all, and this is something we wanted to get out to you right away. We are moving very quickly on this decision and more details will follow of how to qualify for the stimulus package and other programs that will surely make a difference in your business. John Paul Mitchell systems’ package and programs will include free color, free back-bar, enhanced education and digital support, and we will work with you and your distributor partners on terms to help you rebuild your cashflow reserves. These programs are designed to support you and get you back into business as quickly and as easily as possible!

If you have already purchased Gathering 2020 tickets and want to transfer them to new dates, which we hope to announce shortly, there is no need to do anything at this time. If you would prefer to receive a refund, please email sginfo@jpms.com with your FULL NAME and contact information. It will take up 7-10 days for credit card refunds to appear.

We will continue to work hard at bringing you tools for you and your business. This is the beginning of an exciting journey of growth and development, and we are here with you every step of the way.
